No more unbeatens

With only 15 games in the books since the start of 2018 not much has changed in the league standings, but there were a handful of pivotal games in January including the final unbeaten teams falling to their first loss.

First up Titans 3 moved level with Rotherham Rams at the top of Division 3 thanks to a 62-48 victory over the same team. With both teams a couple of losses clear of the rest of the division the destination of the title may well be decided in their final meeting of the season in March.

There was a narrow 81-79 victory for Team Nook 1 over Loxley to move Nook to 7-1 and drop Loxley to 6-2. G-Corp also won this month to move to 7-1 and keep up with Nook.

In Division 4 Ecclesall Hunters handed Retford Rampage their first defeat of the season with a 58-51 win that moved them level with Rampage on top of the table. With just two games left on their season Hunters can claim the division title with a pair of wins.

With the potential division deciding clashes on the slate for March, February promises to be a month of intrigue and jockeying for position with a few upsets thrown in.
