The Sheffield Basketball League is based for the most part at the English Institute of Sport - Sheffield (EIS). The EIS opened in December 2003 and is one of the country's most impressive indoor sports training facilities.
The EIS has 4 basketball courts which meet FIBA international specifications. It has been host to several international basketball events and has also hosted several international basketball teams including Great Britain men and women.

From M1 - Leave the motorway at junction 34 (Sheffield Meadowhall). At the roundabout follow signs 'A6178 City Centre' and 'Attercliffe'. Go past Meadowhall Shopping Centre on your right and continue straight ahead. Follow signs for 'Attercliffe' and 'Sheffield Arena'. Travel straight on passing McDonalds and Sheffield Arena, both on your left. Continue on Attercliffe Road, EIS is on the left (after iceSheffield) on Coleridge Road.
From City Centre - Travel through the Wicker and along Attercliffe Common towards Meadowhall. EIS is approximately 2 miles from the city centre on the right.
A large number of bus routes serve EIS from the bus station / Sheffield Passenger Interchange and depart regularly. Number 69 stops outside EIS and number 52 stops in Attercliffe - just a short walk away.
Sheffield's multi-million pound light rail system is a convenient way of accessing EIS. Trams connect to the facility from various points of Sheffield including the City Centre and Meadowhall. From M1 - Leave the motorway at junction 33 (Sheffield Parkway). At the roundabout take the exit towards Sheffield City Centre (A630). At Park Square roundabout take the third exit towards Sheffield railway station. Stay in the left hand lane and at the traffic lights after the railway station and before reaching the McDonalds turn left onto Granville Road. The entry to the basketball facility is on Norfolk Park Road, which is a right turn off of Granville Road.
